We spent Sunday Morning in Lockport, Manitoba .. as my wife participated in the town’s 100 Centennial celebration and first annual “Lockport 3 Bridges 1/2 Marathon” race which turned out to only be 2 bridges by the way! I was walking around taking pictures while I was waiting for my wife to finish the race when something caught my eye! Click on the above image, and expand it to full size .. looking under the Canadian Flag on the left side of the bridge … I thought it would be cool to take a closer look with my camera and take some pictures and videos. This is the Lockport Dam and Bridge .. where the Pelicans hangout .. I overheard a fisherman complaining this morning (August 22, 2010) that the Pelicans were getting more fish then he was – however, as you can see .. they’re right there where the action is!

Wow! Even with the high quality picture i could not see them at first. I had to scroll to the small pics but wow. I guess you know where the fisherman should be looking. Always follow the birds and they will lead you to where the fish are.
