The WHS foster care program operates in an attempt to give each animal a fair opportunity to be placed into our adoption program. You provide a shelter animal with a temporary home – we provide all supplies needed until the animal can be returned to the shelter for adoption. Fostering is a fulfilling and rewarding volunteer job that you can do in your own home. If you are interested in learning more about the WHS Foster Care Program, Please call our Foster department at 204.982-2049 or email us at email@example.com
Tyson has been at the shelter since April. He came in as a stray and no one came to claim him. This suave Shepherd cross deserves a forever home now! Tyson needs an active owner as he will require regular daily exercise to keep him at his best. He seems to like other dogs and should be ok with cats after a proper introduction. We think Tyson is best suited to a home with children 12 and up. Tyson has been here way too long and the staff can not wait to see him go to the home he so badly craves. Adoption fee includes vet exam, neuter, first vaccine, 6 weeks pet insurance and much more!!
Can you believe this handsome young man was found in the wheel well of a car? Luckily someone brought him to the shelter, out of harms way! Eddie has so much character; it’s hard not to fall in love! He is the “class clown” of the shelter and looking for someone to share his antics with! Eddie can be quite rambunctious and would do better with older children. As a long term resident Eddies adoption fee is only $39.50 and includes his neuter, vet exam, FeLV/FIV test (negative), first vaccination, 6 weeks pet insurance and much more!
