On May 31, 2007, a miracle occurred. This cat had been buried alive and was rescued after an all-night effort by The Emergency Animal Rescue Service near Birmingham, Alabama. As a follow-up to this story, this cat was adopted by a family soon after being rescued and is quite healthy and doing fine.

it was painful tho when the cat could see the way to freedom after being trapped but still couldn’t get out because it was being put in the box…

Hey guys, im the kid that saw the cat bein attacked by dogs and saw it jump in the hole. I still have the cat now. It was really wild when i first got it but its doing all right now i tamed it. Shes very sweet and playful

@BamaHater09 im pissed off right now because just a few moments ago a stray dog was chasing a mom cat but it got away then the dog went after the kitten moments later it caught up to it and bit it on the stomach then tossed it across the air i went and scared the dog away and the kitten couldnt get up after i picked it up to see how i could help it but it was to late it died in my hands.

You did a wonderful job. I have trapped cats myself and it is always great when they realize that you are there for them and they don’t need to have pain and rejection in their lives. I have one now actually that just gave birth to a little one.
Trust is very important to a cat ! Its hard not to trust a cat person!
