Rescue a dog from a pound. Mischka was due to be euthanised the day I saw her. I knew I needed to buy her some time so I took her out to foster her. To my suprise she came home to be the most perfect dog you could imagine. For more info email mmankowska@optusnet.com.au.

Heartwrenchingly beautiful. I wished with all my heart that it was mandatory for people (who that get that cute little pup and decide not to make the effort with them), have to watch the life ebb from them when they are euthanised. I’m so sick of the mealy mouthed excuses as well: “It’s” got fleas; barks;digs; “We”don’t have time for it; we’re moving. Thank god for foster carers who give them a second chance.
