This video teaches you how to train your dog to listen to you with or without food rewards! Many dog owners find that their dog only listens to them when they have food. This common problem can easily be resolved by teaching the dog to work for non-food based reinforcers. There are ample opportunities in your daily life to improve your dog’s reliability and obedience, we just have to know where to look and how to create successful outcomes that the dog can learn from.

Thank you for reminding me of this…I learned that my (80+ Lb) pup does not respond to negative correction very well, so I have learned to make him behave on a leash by simply stopping. He doesn't get to keep walking until he sits/stops tugging/pays attention to me etc. Works like a charm! You have the most helpful training videos on YouTube.

I have a 5 month old puppy and for some reason she just love to eat poop. Most things I take out her mouth, but that ain't one of em lol. When I try to stop her she think we're playing and start playing fetch with the day old poop. You know the one with the hard exterior and soft inside. Please help! ๐
