I don’t care what anyone says, I will never hold my ferrets like this. It looks very uncomfortable and hurtful >_>
Felicitythemeerkat

IcyDeath7
to all the dumbshits out there
scruffing does not hurt the animal. it is loose skin usually used to transport young animals safely or assert dominance. animals do it since it makes animals weak. I dont condone always carrying animals by the scruff but only do it if you need the animal in a weak state for something not transportation. If scruffing hurts your animal then youre doing it fucking wrong. again this doesnt hut your fucking animals.
Skittywolf
@Kantasyxx Though a lot of things say that it does look very uncomfortable. D:
Skittywolf
“This makes them relax..” *Ferret struggles to get free* 0:48 Lol what an idiot.
Skittywolf
@panda374 They like to play bite a bit but just as a dog or cat would and they are not aggressive at all, just very playful. (Their bites don’t hurt)
TheLOLCanadian
What a dumass lmao
imejoehiyalol
Blood and nerve supply apparantly.
FrozenNight1
O.o That ferret is just like… screaming in silent horror…
JaceBlade
Wow u guys are dumb -_- scruffing a ferret does not hurt them, ferret skin is alot tougher than human skin and even among themselves they would scruff eachother to show dominance and its also a way a mother ferret would move her babies… all it does is basicaly make them body tired, hence the yawn…
NightwishGymnast15
My Ferrets don’t seem to respond to scruffing at all, they just squirm out of my hold and continue on with whatever they’re doing. The last thing they do is go into a submissive state. Is there a trick to this?
Landotter1
@Ealisha123 What’s not good?
werewolfbitevictim
@FrozenNight1 lol. i have owned ferrets for 7 years now and i assure you it doesn’t hurt. besides it’s only for 2 mins to take care of their ears and nails. she must have an overly rambunctious ferret for it to still be struggling

a person can write comments about stuff without using foul language icydeath7. it is really sad when you can’t use enough of the English language minus the swearing! there are kids that use this page too, so show some respect for others on here, use that language elsewhere.

I just bought a ferret and 2months old I tried this and it made a weird noise I did not know ferrets can bark is this normal it was not a angry sound and not really a bark but I can not describe it well is my ferret normal if there is such a thing it runs around a ferret proof room like a cat on crack or speed and always shits in the corner to wear I had to put a litter box there I really like the little guy though
