Dog Training – Teaching manners

I just found this pet related video on YouTube … and thought you might enjoy it!

YouTube Description Click yellow button on right to ‘subscribe’ to my videos. Teaching manners on the dock is important so you are not using up all of your alloted time when at a trial, and so you can move a long quicker during practice times, and also so the dog is very clear on what is expected of him, and what is not, therefore he is able to expend all his energy towards the task and make his jumps as long as they can be. Dock Diving is the fastest rising sport and it is also great exercise for dogs in the summer to keep them cool, and has much less pounding on the joints than running, or jumping on land. This dog is a Belgian Malinois, and his name is “Nash”

Really shows Nash listening, being obedient and soaring off the dock! Just goes to show you that it’s not necessary to manhandle the dog on the dock, even in the early stages of training. Can’t wait to see his first competition!
