The Winnipeg Humane Society has on overwhelming amount of dogs available for adoption. All of our dogs are in need in of quality, durable (strong) dog toys to keep them busy. If you have toys to donate please drop them off at our shelter. With this many dogs it can be a challenge to keep them from become too bored.

Casper is a special guy. He was brought in when his owner could no longer care for him. Casper is deaf. Deaf cats can lead a normal, happy and healthy life. Casper should be kept indoors so that he is safe from vehicles he can not hear. Casper is very friendly and affectionate. He is very relaxed and will make someone an awesome companion. Casper may benefit from having a friend in his new home; he is expected to play well with other cats, after a proper introduction. Diesel is a charismatic 1 year old male. He would love an owner that is active – makes a great jogging partner!! Diesel has been here at the shelter since March; he came in as a stray. He is very energetic and requires regular exercise to keep him happy and healthy. We think Diesel is best suited to a home with children 12+ and one without any cats. Diesel is such a fun loving, goofy guy; we know you once you meet him it will be love at first sight! Come down to our shelter today!
