Meet Steve Earl. He came to us with a gun shot wound in one of his shoulders, and to make matters worse, while we were fixing him up, an x-ray showed a second, older gun shot wound on the other side of his body! When we first met him, he was pretty timid and shy around people (who wouldn’t be after what he’s been through?!?) but he’s done amazing here and now loves to be around people. He always looks sad when someone has to leave him after a visit or walk. This lucky guy deserves a wonderful home where he can be care free and loved by a great family with kids over 10 and no cats please.

There once was a kitty, who was found as a stray,
she needed a home, and then one day,
along came a person, in need of a cat,
they saw Cindy-Lou, and that was that!
Won’t you help me have a story book happily ever after? … Please? I’ve also spent some time in foster care and they said I was a very polite house guest, playing nicely with their cat and even playing fetch with the people too!
