I really wonder what kind of people live in and also keep animals in these circumstances. The person might think about helping them but makes it only worse since they all breed amongst eachother (inbred animals have a risk at a worse health) and some of those poor cats might be euthanised. I own a small animalsanctuary with 57 animals and I know how much time, attention, space and money it costs for food and the vet to keep them all healthy and happy.

Poor things! That house looked more like a rubbish dump and no living thing deserves to live in a place like that. Thank you HSUS for your wonderful work!

I felt so sorry for the cats and the older couple that where living in this house. I feel bad for the cats because the way they where living. As for the Owners for the cats it brakes my heart to know that they don’t know any better and think they are helping them but really aren’t. I hope they don’t stuck in jail instead they need help to understand what they where doing wrong it’s not right to put a person in jail and they don’t understand why when they thought they where helping the cats

Great work! The organization I am a member of also does alot of rescue work. If you are going to adopt a cat, get it from a shelter. Remember to spay and neuter your cat!

This is why I spend all my extra money on helping these cats. I hate how people treat them.

Please let the authorities know? lol, that was tried repeatedly. I can say that the cat hoarders can get away with hording with no worries, becuase getting the authorities involved is likely to do nothing. Give this round to the cat hoarders.
