I would like to see an hour doc on this, how parrot people can train their parrots so they can do what they are built to do. Would you chop off a dogs legs or lie them down so they could never run? Even an animal such as a horse stuck in a stall or small enclosure develops what stupid people call vices, fixed action patterns not instinct generated but habits that express mental problems such as weaving, cribbing, pawing. Horses have no where near the mind of the parrots. We as animal lovers should give them what they require in order to live in our world. The reward for such huge commitment is seen in your sane birds eyes when they look in the camera. I am struck how different a look they have versus most of the others I have seen in person and video. MOST parrots I see in person feather plucking issues, destructive habits , screaming issues over many hours. This is one of the few parrot channels I can view without feeling really sad for the parrots, and other birds . Thanks to the caretaker of these two for committing to doing it right from the beginning to ensure his birds are sane.
