    Second that…I got my dog at 5 months and he is so skittish around those things…I try to get him used to it but it’s the only issue I have.

    It’s a bit of a paradox that Victoria urges people to stay away from pet store dogs because they’re low grade, but still encourage people to get these very same dogs from a shelter. You’re still getting the exact same dog, just from a different source… because shelters is where these pet store dogs end up when their irresponsible owners grow tired of them. Be just as wary of shelters as of breeders, because there are good and bad ones out there!
