Iams Home 4 The Holidays Iraq Adoption Has Storybook Ending

The annual Iams Home 4 The Holidays adoption drive has made more than one million matches through the years to find orphan pets new homes. More than a year ago, Lt. Col. Jay Kopelman was serving in Iraq where he met a puppy named Lava. With the help of The Iams Company, Helen Woodward Animal Center and others, the soldier was able to bring Lava back to California to safety.

The story has become a book, which will be released in November by The Lyons Press.
