HELP! My military macaw only screams when I am on the phone. It’s as if she
wants to be part of the conversation. I’ve tried desensitizing her and
faking a phone call but she KNOWS no one is on the other end. Any ideas
other than leaving the room when I get on the phone?

… Tell me if it gouges your eyes out, OK? It’s been a long time since
I’ve seen someone or even heard of someone in agony, if it does, give it a
treat (food treat, real bird food treat -.-) it will deserve it.

Recently my budgie stopped singing started chirping extremely loudly when
she hears music. She sits beside my desk and I can barely take it! So today
I’ve started employing this strategy, based on this video – i stop the
music every time she starts squacking. It’s a bit annoying as i’m trying to
work, but in an hour, it seems to be working already! Thanks very much!
