Thank you so much! Awe, so sweet! Congrats on your new conure ^-^ I got mine when I was 12, the guy who gave him to me actually had his DNA test results or “birth certificate” lol. So they already had the testing done. Not sure how much it is to get done though =/ Just give it a neutral name until you find out! 🙂 Best of luck to you!

Your bird is really beautiful! I have a green cheek conure and we never got to see if it’s a boy or girl. I got him/her last week so he’s getting used to his/her new home!

I have heard they are pretty rare as well. I actually didn’t go looking for one, my dad had a client who has 7 birds & was giving some of them away, so I got Kramer free 10 years ago 😀 I got lucky I guess 🙂 Unfortunately, people have been very mean to him when he was in his cage so he thinks people are bad =/ He is sweet but mostly just to people he knows, hoping to find a way to train him to be nicer to strangers. Thank you so much!

I read somewhere the red throated conure is going to be hard to find in the next 10yrs. Was yours easy to come by? He seems so sweet!
