Hi, I’m having a terrible time finding advice on my dog’s whining in the crate. He’ll whine and fuss for hours. I give him a kong with wetdog food in it to lure him ni and he only gets it when he’s in the crate but he won’t touch it once I close the crate door and just fusses the whole time. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong here.

No matter what the pet shop owner or dog trainer says, a crate is just a box that you can see through, and putting dogs in crates is just a way to ignore and warehouse them until you get around to taking care of them properly.
