Hi, a nice video, thank you! I’ve got a question acc. to this video….My dog is has got a high level of teachability, but when my boyfriend and I were teaching him to come using a clicker, he preferred to come to one of us who had the clicker, however we both had treats for him….we just stood and called him in turns and I had a clicker. as soon as he approached one of us I clicked, so he happily ran back to me even if my boyfriend called him. What did I do wrong?

Q: I have a pit bull puppy and I can’t get her to listen to me. Some times she will get outside and take off from me and I have to chase her down. How can I make her listen to me?

Your videos are amazing! I’ve used a combination of them mixed with ceasar milan vids, and some good ‘ol fashioned positive reinforcement, and now my puggle Kratos is one of the most well-behaved dogs ever! LOL 😀
I will certainly be recommending you to the other dog owners that I know!
Keep up the good work! 🙂

@asiansquirl You should start indoors first because it has less distractions. And once he’s doing well enough indoors then you can take the training outside .

So what you are saying is if you call the name, give a treat, they will then always listen to the command and with think there with be more treats right. If thats true thats great. But do you have to “come” at the end?;Good job!

@karenmacful hey im not a dog trainer but ive watched some stuff on cesar millans dog whisperer show, if u havent seen it then i recommend it to u. have u tried correcting them with the dog bite technique? it doesnt hurt them it just mimics what the mother dog wud do to correct their behaviour. use that when u can see that they are focusing on the cars n try to nip it in the bud before they start to chase. also running after them actually makes them think its a game so that’ll only encorage
