Dogs are really as gentle as ever. Good for the cat or else it is just so easy fight a cat even if they have nine lives. I have a dog and rabbits at home and it is such amazing to see them do things together like buddies. Believe it or not but our dog prefer to nap with the rabbits in their rabbit hutch.
