Late twenties to early thirties is generally a pretty good estimate as to how long a horse typically lives. A lot of this depends on the type of care the horse has received, as well as any health issues they may have. Again, it’s only an average. Some horses die younger, others live well into their forties, or occasionally longer. At the stable I work at, we have horses that are 25-29 and still going out on trail rides.

This is so great! I’ve been working with my mom’s 12 year old TB and he’s so smart that he gets bored so easy. Due to tack problems, he was on horsey-vacation for a while and now that he’s got his own tack that fits I’m working on building his muscles back up and I want to keep his smart brain busy. His papers said he neck reined, but either I must be doing something wrong or he forgot because nothing is happening.

This video helped a Lot. New Project from scratch!! WOO!! Can’t Wait!
