Bear, 117708
Bear is one very lucky dog with a serious will to live! After being hit by a semi truck in the city and sustaining very serious injuries, Bear was unable to move- he was only able to rotate his body using his front legs- he had no use of his hind end. We were not sure if he would make it. Thanks to the diligence of our clinic staff and a very determined foster parent, Bear pulled through surgery and his long rehabilitation, which included regular physio to improve his mobility. We’ve done our part- now it’s time for someone to do theirs, by falling in love and providing Bear with a lifelong home! Adoption fee is reduced, only $88.06; Bear desperately needs a loving owner. Come & see what a miracle looks like.
Velvet Cheeks, 120475
Oooohhhh those cheeks! Velvet Cheeks came in as a battered up stray tom cat from the north end. After testing negative against FeLV & FIV (feline leukemia & the feline version of AIDS- this is an extra adoption bonus), Velvet Cheeks was approved for adoption. Typical of many tom cats, he has large puffy cheeks as a result of not being neutered & fighting with other cats while on the streets. He’s happy now being taken care of & not having to scavenge for his meals. This shy guy is best suited to adults only- he has a pretty neat purrsonality. $79.00 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccine, pet insurance & much more!
Fees include vet exam, vaccine, pet insurance, microchip & much more!
