Tye needs a lucky charm to get him into a loving, responsible and permanent home. This unlucky feline has been through the shelter a number of times through no fault of his own. He was last brought to us after being removed from a vacant home in the core area of downtown at the end of May; he was lucky to be alive, with barely any food and access only to dirty water. Tye is 10 years-old and needs a retirement home where he’ll be spoiled and loved like he’s never known before. Taboo is a friendly, independent girl found in the dead of winter in the RM of Tache; she was in terrible shape and needed help! This poor ~2 year-old cat had frostbitten ears, was missing fur, had bloody ears due to bad earmite infestation, she was dehydrated and had an injured back foot. It was obvious that she’d been outside for sometime, fending for herself without anyone to look after her. Taboo has been with us since February- too long to be in a shelter! Taboo’s adoption fee has been reduced as a longterm resident to only $39.50- this includes her spay, vet exam, pet insurance, ear tattoo and more! She needs to learn what love is.

Hi Maria. As far as I am aware, this site has brought leads for finding unwanted pets some loving homes 🙂
I do not have any stats however, but am glad to do offer this service to my local humane society here in Winnipeg. Not only that, I truly believe it helps people all over the world to see posts like these in the front .. and it will trickle down to them thinking more seriously about the possibility that if they are looking for a new pet .. to try looking at their own humane society shelters. There are a lot of great pets waiting to be adopted everywhere.
