The WHS foster care program operates in an attempt to give each animal a fair opportunity to be placed into our adoption program. You provide a shelter animal with a temporary home – we provide all supplies needed until the animal can be returned to the shelter for adoption. Fostering is a fulfilling and rewarding volunteer job that you can do in your own home. Lucy is a gorgeous ~7 year old gal. Her owner could no longer care for her so she came here. Lucy is fairly outgoing, laid back, and affectionate. Her previous owner says she was always the perfect companion, and never got into trouble. She enjoys being brushed and will also let you trim her nails. Roxy is a dazzling 6 ½ year old Rottweiler cross. Roxy has been passed around a fair bit through no fault of her own. Roxy is very well mannered and friendly. She loves to be with people and will lean in for attention. This darling girl is best suited to a home without cats or small animals; she may be too much for them.
