WHS Ad – July 10, 2007 – Please Adopt Me!

Saving just one dog won’t change the world…
but it surely will change the world for that one dog.

Leia, 136253

Leia is a Princess of a kitty! With The WHS since January 30 when she was found as a frostbitten stray (hence the no ears!) in the North End of the city. Leia is a dainty, quiet cat who doesn’t do very well in the shelter, so she is available from her foster home, where she’s doing very well, but cannot stay permanently, however she is litterbox trained & enjoys the company of other cats. Leia is also Feline Leukemia & FIV negative! As she likes to roughhouse sometimes, she may be best with older kids who can keep up to her! As a longterm cat her adoption fee is reduced to $48.06, includes her spay, vet exam, pet insurance, microchip and more! Please contact Foster at 982-2049 to arrange a visit with Leia!

Nina, 143326

Nina is one of many baby domestic rats available for adoption at the humane society! Surrendered when the owner’s numbers at home got out of control, Nina and her friends are very social, easily handled & love to interact with people. Contrary to popular belief, domestic rats make terrific pets for families & kids due to their sociability and friendly nature- makes them less likely to bite. $6.95 adoption fee includes vet exam, 14-day health period, ownership counseling & handbook! Please come in to visit Nina & Friends!
