Hanson came to us in rough shape; luckily the fantastic staff here worked with him and he is now happy, healthy and ready for adoption! Hanson requires an experienced owner, one who will know when to be firm and when to be gentle. He has a previous leg injury, and while he manages just fine, he needs to be kept at his ideal weight, and have moderate exercise for life. This fellow has a zest for life, which you can not fully appreciate until you meet him – come down to our shelter today! Best suited for children 16 +.

If someone in a yellow jacket rings your doorbell, make sure you answer — it could mean money saving deals, a donation to The Winnipeg Humane Society and a chance to enter a draw for trip for four to Disneyland. Canvassing will begin this weekend and will run throughout the fall.
