WHS Ad – January 5, 2011 – Please Adopt Me

Ares 206831

Ares has been in our care since October. She is very lovable, and really wants a home to call her own. She is a bit overwhelmed here at the shelter, and takes a bit of time to get to know you. She loves to be with other dogs and should do well with children 12 and up. Ares is gentle girl; she will cuddle right into you for love once she feels comfortable. She loves to play in the snow, snowball fight anyone??? This lovely girl is looking for someone who knows that this gorgeous girl is like a flower – she will need TLC, and time to truly blossom.

Nick 208284

Nick is looking for a very special “retirement” home where he will be able to relax and get the love and attention he deserves. At 8 years old, he is ready to settle in with a quiet family and spend the rest of his days surrounded by people who care about him. Like most pets, Nick isn’t fond of being in the shelter. He spends his time in his kennel waiting for his next walk or a pat on the head from a friendly volunteer. We are worried that without the constant companionship he craves, he will become depressed. Nick desperately wants someone who will snuggle him and dote on him in any way they can. Our staff have been working on kennel training him and he has been making some wonderful progress. We know there is a quiet, peaceful home out there for this deserving doggie. He just needs to live life at his own pace and promises to make new memories with you each and every day you spend with him. Nick will need to go to a home with no cats or children under 12 years old.
