Phantom came in with his best friend Bandit due to allergies. These two friendly felines are about ten years old. They are very stressed out here in the shelter, and would much prefer to be in the comforts of their new home. They must be adopted together; and have a very special fee of only $80.00 for both. They have always been together and have never lived with other animals or children, so they would do best in a quieter home. Come meet them today!

Stoney came to us as a stray at the end of October. This 10 year old boy is looking for a family that will let him go at his own pace; he is a bit shy at first. Stoney is a calm, gentle boy. He seems to do ok with cats. This charming canine deserves a second chance at a great family! As an older dog his fee has been reduced to $80.00 and includes his neuter, vet exam, first vaccines, and 6 weeks of pet insurance. The Winnipeg humane Society currently has a few senior dogs. The WHS’ new Teen Leadership Program is an incredible opportunity for youths who want to make a real difference for animals. The Winnipeg Humane Society is seeking exceptional teens (ages 16-19) that have a passion for animals to apply. The group will attend monthly meetings starting with an orientation in December 2009 and ending in June 2010. Meetings will include special guest speakers and opportunities to take on creative projects and participate in fundraising events for the WHS.
