It’s been a weird and cold summer here in the Great White North of Winnipeg, but we managed to get away to our cottage in Victoria Beach, Manitoba for some R & R. There’s lots to do here, on our vacation, but sometimes it’s just nice to lazy around the cottage on a summer afternoon.

Oh wow… now that’s relaxation! So calm, soothing and.. I want mine too. I wish my backyard was like that, especially this El Niño season. Dry and hazey everywhere.

You know you are starting to feel a litle relaxed when you start taking pictures of Dragon Flies 🙂 They love to keep the mosquito population down!
Right now I’m trying to resize all my photos that I’ve taken .. down to a reasonable upload size, as I’m on my EVDO (wireless laptop card) account!

Sadly, I don’t get a lot of dragonflies visit these days, due to the haze.. gosh, this morning was even worse. I just hope they are hiding well from all the heat. I like the dogs pic too, so cute!! I want to have one of those.
