“If the cat is hurting people” okay, I see, if the cat hurts people then that makes it fine for you to do the same on a far worse level, does it? Does that make it okay for you to go around mutilating and crippling them? You sick freak.
33 years as a veterinarian, what a horrible statistic. 33 years of suffering, pain and disability for all cats in Chicago! Laser declawing is just as bad as any other declawing method. Take it from Australia and the other 37 countries who have banned declawing!

I know, gothesheeep. It’s horrible. And laser declawing may be a significant improvement over traditional declawing, but it’s still horrible. Train your cat to scratch his own furniture. Pad the paws. Even a tendonectomy is much, much better. Declawing may be justified under some extreme circumstances, but it’s rarely ever the right thing to do.
