I am in DESPERATE need of how to train a male dog not to mark inside a pet store-my boy just started doing this at 2 years old and doesn't do it indoors the home or grandmas house but he does do it at pet stores since other dogs pee in there and the other people don't clean up after them. I need help on how to get him to stop!!!

My puppy won't stop wining. Whenever I lock her up in the bathroom with food, water, bed, pads, and toys, she continues to cry. Hoe can I prevent her from doing that?

This is going to sound stupid. But i've tried to find information about blow drying a dog after bathing. I want to learn my future dog to enjoy the blow dryer without being afraid of the sound since the dog will have a thicker coat (golden retriever). Do you think you can give some tips about what i should do the first couple of times to make the dog not afraid of the sound?

I have a 5 month old boston terrier & pug cross. She is so smart and thanks to your video learned a lot in this short time. There is one thing I can't qite get out of her. When we're out for a walk she listens well, but tends to pick everything up and tries to eat it. I'm sure I'm not the only one with that problem?

Hi Zak, your videos help me a lot with my poodle puppy. Thanks so much! The thing is that my puppy likes to eat everything! She even eat rocks (small ones) sometimes. And it's really bad for her stomach. I scold her and she lets things out sometimes. She is 3 months old now, I wish to find the way to let her know what she should eat and what not. Can u please tell me? Thanks so much!

I'm having a ton of trouble exercising my 9 week old Havanese. He isn't interested in any toys. The only thing he does is eat and sit around licking me ( which honestly isn't that bad but still) I can't walk him yet since he isn't leash trained and does not have shot

There is some decent information here. Currency is a thing. However, like I've said time and time again…your boss analogy is completely flawed because it assumes all dogs are the same and will respond to the same level of positive/negative feedback.

Dogs, like people, are all wired differently. Some people don't steal because they know it's wrong. Some people don't steal because they're afraid of the law. Some people steal anyway. Your training methodology is not inclusive of a huge population of dogs that won't respond to this type of training. I would say a lot of dogs from the amount of dogs I see on the street that are aggressive to humans and other animals and if it weren't for the leash there would be a lot of injury to humans and animals alike. TRAIN your dog, not coddle your dog.

So what is the purpose of the leash? Is it to "force" the dog to stay near? This guy is a clown. He had no problem "forcing" the dog to let him hold it. Nonsense like this is ruining dogs.

Hi, we got a new puppy (Shetland sheep dog). We were told to leave him in his crate till he receives his third vaccination. But he is barking a lot and he shits at where he sleeps at least once a day. I feel like bringing him out maybe he will get better. Kindly advise how can I help him.

Zak, you have really helped me with training dogs. I don't have a dog myself, but my best friend has new puppies and I helped her with training the pups. Your videos really helped with training her dogs and are very educational. Thank you so much!
