Ryder is gorgeous. Can you tell us the exact name of the harness he wears and how to find one?

AWWWW, How cute! Ryder looks like my Mac. I really want my cats to go outside, but not on their own. I definitely need to get them a leash. I like the leash that you were using. I appears that the black neck part is stretchy, which I would prefer, I worry about then getting strangled. I gotta check them out next time I go to the pet store! Thanks for sharing. 🙂 Maria

1-No not if the harness/ jacket will latch on top off the cat versus the bottom. 🙂 2-No, unless they eat a dead animal or something, no, no diseases. 🙂 3- I dont know im not the cat owner just wanted to answer you. 🙂 my kitten is 6 weeks old she walks on a leash, no problem. You would probably still have a good chance of teaching your cats their names, and how to walk on a leash. What I did when I adopted a year old cat from the shelter was kept saying his name then a treat. 🙂 he learned.

Hey, I have a couple of questions. 1- does it bothers the cat to have the harness on it? 2-Can the cat catch any diseases when outside? 3- how did you train your cat to sit/come to you when called?, I have 2 cats 6 or 7 months, they refuse to obey or even listen to me. I hardly made them know their names! :(. Thanx :). I like the video btw nicely recorded 😛 😀

We found that just once putting a leash on him and taking him directly outside that he (Ryder) put two and two together and as you can see from this footage, just a couple of times and he KNEW that leash meant OUTSIDE!!!
Thank you for calling us out on that!

Ya know, you are absolutely correct! What we should have explained is that this is just the (indoor) cats 3rd time outside. With all of the posts that we found on the internet they explained to let your cat wear a leash for a week and gradually get them used to it before taking them outside. Well….. the first time we did that Ryder (our cat) just laid on his side and payed dead (it was really funny and I wish we had video of that)!

How can you call this “HOW to train your cat to walk on a leash” if the cat in the video is already trained?
