Cats have lost their appeal.. now we’re looking at ferrets and hedgehogs because cats are too mainstream

bathe them every month or less if you bathe them every week they start to smell really bad. Ferret food is best but if cant find that then look for kitten food that is high in protein and make sure the kitten food has lots of meat. Also try to feed them real meat and even frozen mice but be sure to defrost the mice before giving it to the ferret.

go to Partferret on youtube that channel has helped me alot.

not true, bathing them and cleaning their ears will keep the smell down.. however bathing them too much will cause them to stink more. Another good tip to keeping the funk down is to wash their bedding weekly and keep their litter boxes clean.

Anyone interested in learning about or getting a ferret, please join the “Ferret Owners” group in Facebook. We have over 1,500 extremely knowledgable and experienced people who can help educate you on the BEST ways to care for a fuzzy. I’ve owned ferrets for over 25 years and I’m still learning because of the group. Ferrets are great creatures but they are NOT like cats and dogs… there is specific things you need to know in order to take care of them properly.

Not trained to hunt rabbits… they naturally will hunt rabbits! An un-muzzled ferret will catch the rabbit, eat it, and go to sleep. They don’t need training. But a muzzled ferret is used to prevent the ferret from catching the rabbit.

We took it to the vet and he’s doing a lot better. They said that he could of been depress because of the new addition to the famly; Little Sasha! She’s full of energy and he’s still getting used to her but he’s doing so much better. We were super worried about him having something physically wrong, but he was checked out and doing a lot better. Thanks for your reply.
