I am the head of a non-profit rescue group that takes in rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats, hamsters, chinchillas, and other “pocket pets”. I’m not big on some of the junk food treats that are sold for these wonderful animals, but my little Ben, a new rat rescue loves these honey drops. He is elderly and rather picky, so I was pleased to find he liked them. I don’t feed him more than one or two per day, but it is something he looks forward to and really enjoys. He doesn’t save it for later…he will eat it right away which I like.
