YouTube Description

www.BudgieHealth.com with Avian Vet Specialist Dr Ross Perry brings you a video clip of Dr Ross Perry showing a series of plants that many would refer to as garden and lawn weeds that can be offered as treats to budgies and other caged and pet birds. Chickweed, Dandelion, Milk Thistle, Winter Grass, Poa Grass, Rye Grass, Shepherds Purse, Sub-Clover, Medic and Green Bindy Eye are some of those shown. Dr Ross Perry emphasises the principle of offering a little of a lot rather than a lot of a little! Explore Youtube DoctorRossPerry to discover his other websites about bird health care.

Thank you for this very helpful info. It has been a long time coming where we who love our feathered friends can learn what greens and treats to feed them. Keep the ‘lessons’ coming please and keep up your wonderful work!

Tx Joolls! Really appreciate your comments! I have hundreds if not thousands of raw video recordings to edit and publish as soon as I find another dozen hands and few more computers! If every one shares some of them with their bird loving friends we might be able to change many attitudes towards birds, help appreciate that they are far smarter than most people imagine, that they have emotions and feelings, and needs, especially for companionship throughout the day and of course good nutrition.

Thanks so much for the Rave! I hope it also warranted a thumbs up! I have a series of natural food plant related videos to upload soon so keep checking and exploring my channel. Thanks for helping me help raise awareness and standards of care of caged and pet birds around the world, and hence the quality of life of many by sharing this as well as what you are doing on your own Channel. Much appreciated, Ross
