This is not a potty that kids can sit on all by themselves. Maybe an older child, but my son is 19 months and when he tries to sit down the top moves off of the base. I am always right there, so I adjust the potty and him, but it’s not really safe without supervision. He also loves taking it apart and using the stool to play with. I will most likely put the toilet ring on our real toilet and have him use the step stool to sit on the toilet. I have not tried this yet though so I do not know how well the goldfish fits a real toilet seat. I think I may also give the fisher price froggy potty a try.
