Ive tried that with my dog but it doesn’t work 🙁
She sits down but doesn’t lie down. I lower the treat near the ground and she just lowers her head!

Successive approximation. Sometimes a behavior needs to be broken down. Your dog lowers her head, reward, she lowers it a little more, reward. There is more about this on my website AmazingDogTrainingMan dot com.

    Good luck,
    Eric

everythings fine except he can’t sit back up from laying down, and he can’t shake hands, do you think it could be because his paws are to short? he’s a dachshund.

Keep working on it. When I am working with a small dog I like to train with them up on a table. It makes it easier for you to train.

    Good luck!

    All the best,
    Eric

First i taught my dog how not to jump(successful) and then when it comes to sitting and staying his jumping habits come back, i could almost say that he is untrainable.
