I recently had to buy a plastic storage bin to replace the liter box (cause=oversized cat) Do you think it’s an allergy to the plastic storage bin? I thought it’s only plastic bowls they eat out of.

Can you please recommend a mild antibacterial soap to wash my cats chin with…I heard Cetephil works but its human antibacterial soap?
Also, when you say benzyl peroxide…is this humane grade stuff that I have in my first aid box?

we have our cat now for three yrs or so, when we got her from a shelter I noticed many tiny, hard bumps or scabs on her scruff. I could feel them stroking her. I used a fine tooth comb on that area and after a few days the bumps were gone and never came back. Perhaps the comb dislodged any scabs and combed them out

    SO, here’s an idea….
why not show a cat that actually HAS acne so we know what it might look like!

Cats get acne from irritants, allergies, or bacterial sources. they look like little block dots of varying largeness, which may or may not feel swollen, and may or may not have some black stuff that is thick and waxy pushing out form these dots.
