Also I do not agree that a non-neutered dog is less agressive than a neutered one. All dogs have their own personalities and I heve seen fixed dogs that are agressive and also non-neutered dogs that are really calm.

I heard from people that neutered their dogs that the dogs gained a lot of weight and some even developed hormonal imbalances. Neutering is good to control the population of dogs but I do not know if it is healthier really for the individual dog other than doing what Humans usually do which is going against nature.

WHere did you got that info that neutering a dog prevents cancer? I want to find out because I read fixed and nonfixed dogs are both as likely to develop cancer.

If they are neuter your dog or cat is takes away mating horomores i think and takes away there madness and stuff.
But, they still get cancer! if they get older

Hi you guys. You are absolutely right Neutering male dogs definitely decreases their chances of getting prostate cancer, eliminates testicular cancer, and even tumors near the anal glands! Spaying the females decreases mammary (breast) tumors, uterine and ovarian cancer, and prevents another life-threatening disease called pyometra (pus -filled uterus). This is the truth.

Please remember : Being in the animal shelter is like being on the Titanic….and homes for pets are like lifeboat seats. When you breed your dog and find homes for each puppy, those homes could have saved a shelter dog’s life…now it will go down with the ship

So basically neuter your dogs to prevent them from getting prostate cancer, and do the same for females to prevent a similar fate. You know a dog not being neutered is not going to develope cancer later in life. Its a possibility but not as definite, like it’s a matter of when instead of if. And nuetering a dog so it can live longer seems kind of cynical to me.
